FSMTC Prepaid Internet Setup

Skip to number 5 if you want to access internet on the current computer with your FSMTC Prepaid Telcard.

To set up a new connection on another computer, you need to make sure it (WIN95/98/ME/2000/XP) is configured to connect to the internet. Follow the instructions below:

1. Click on My Computer.
Click on Network and Dialup connection. Make New Connection.

Enter your name.

Click "Next".
2. Enter access number:
Pohnpei: 320-7555
Yap: 350-7555
Chuuk: 330-7555
Kosrae: 370-7555.
3. You do not need to fill in these fields.

Click "Next".
4. You have successfully completed the steps needed to create the connection.

You can select "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop."

Click "Finish".
5. To access the internet with your prepaid card, click on the dialer icon or the shortcut that you have created on your desktop.

This window will open. Enter the card number as the username and the scratch number as the password. Click "Dial" or "Connect".

Your prepaid Telcard will be charged $0.08 for mb received and $0.08 for mb transferred. (Rates may change without notice).
*NOTE: Once successfully logged in, an initial amount of $4.00 (or all the available balance on the TelCard if it is less than $4.00) will be reserved from the TelCard balance. Charges are assessed separately on Inbound and Outbound megabyte usage at $0.08 per Mb. If the customer disconnects before using up the entire balance, charges will be assessed based on separate Inbound and Outbound Mb. usage and the TelCard balance adjusted accordingly if the reserved amount exceeds the combined Inbound and Outbound usage charges.
